this line in the second one screws things up for me.

if (clipContainer.x <= rightLimit) clipContainer.x = rightLimit;

Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't this be written as:

if ((clipContainer.x + clipContainer.width) <= rightLimit) clipContainer.x = (rightLimit - clipContainer.width);

this works for me by the way.

Hi
Great tricks!
i have tried the first version and can´t get the individual pictures (inside clipcontainer) to move in a even way... if i point the mouse near the center (and moves slowly) it looks like one picture following another in steps like the first pulling the second and so on...
this is the experimentation page:
http://www.hamacasalrio.com.ar/guest/fotoGallery2.html
What should i do?
ps. waiting for THE FINER ART OF LOADING (#3)!!!!

Hey Jonathan,
I'm glad you like it. The article about repeating thumbnails is already in progress (though it becomes a bit longer than expected - but it covers Milkbox / Lightbox as well). So having a look in some days again will tell you how to realise that :)

Hi Marvin,
great snippet! I have been looking for something like this like hell but either you have to pay for it or it does not look good. Finally I found yours, thanks a lot! Can you tell us something about the repeating / endless thumbnails as well? This would make the whole panel perfect. Is there any way of donating you? :-)

Regards,
Jon.
