Thibault Imbert (@thibault_imbert) just came up with a really interesting helper class to easily record your microphone input via AS3. Thibault used the new Microphone Object which comes along with the Flash Player Version 10.1 – so having a look at the code is a good start to get in contact with it. I’ve tried it quickly and have to say: Chapéu, it works fine, is set up in a second and is well written. Yet only a WAV encoding is supported but it shouldn’t be a big deal to include others, stay tuned!
